GUEST BOOK

To the Mobley family I convey my most heart felt sympathies. Penn has been in my prayers over the last couple of years and your family will continue to be in my prayers as I ask God to heal the hole in your heart from the loss of Penn.

- Sam Smith, Savannah, GA

Dear Lori and Paul, we are so sad to hear of your loss. It sounds like Penn was an exceptional young man. May God comfort you in the years to come. from your friends at Nippon Express, Charlotte

- Monte Huffstetler, Charlotte, NC

Dear Mobley family, My God's peace be with your family during this time of pain. I did not know Robert but looking at how he conducted himself during his brief time on earth you should be proud of his accomplishments. The greatest gift we can give someone is the gift of service and Robert gave in many ways and touched many hearts. May the Lord be with you.

- Tony Hensley, Wilmington, NC

Hi Mobley family, I had Penn for Sociology last semester. Penn was a top-notch guy; EVERYbody loved him. When thinking of that class, Penn is the first thing that comes to mind, not the curriculum. He had that much presence. His comments kept the class laughing and lively, and he led all of the conversations before class started. He always had the group of people surrounding his desk entranced in his charisma. For the most part, Penn and I were cool. We would talk every now and then, and we would nod to each other when we ran into each other at the BMC. When Penn walked in late to Erney's English class when this semester started, I knew that I had an ally that I could depend on if I was ever unsure of an upcoming assignment and, finally, I had a chance to make an actual friendship with him. I only took the opportunity to speak to him once, actually. It was last Monday. We had just finished a midterm exam the Friday before and Penn and I were the only two who did not finish the essay portion in time. On Monday, I walked up to Penn after class and asked him if we should ask Erney if we could finish the essay portion of our exam strength in numbers. He shrugged and replyed,'Sure. Let's do it.' Erney flat-out said 'no.' We had failed in our mission, but I am SO fortunate that I had a chance to connect with Penn in his last days. Penn was a great person, and I am left wondering if heaven truly realizes the joys that are to be had now that Penn is there. I am deeply sorry for your loss, and I will grieve beside you. But I will celebrate the life of a wonderful, funny and optimistic man. Thank you, Penn! Don't wear them out before I get there ;

- Lavon Youins, Richmond Hill, GA

Paul, Lori, and Jonathan, I want you to know, taking care of Penn has been a complete pleasure. He could come in and make us laugh in the clinic and do some of the silliest things. His favorite thing was coming in and ringing the bell at the front desk, but if the bell wasn't there he would just shout 'DING'! I will miss him coming in to see us and saying 'Heellooo Ladies' in this deep and sexy voice. I will miss him very much!! He is truly an inspiration for many people and I am honored to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with you! I love you all! Melissa

- Melissa Knight, Savannah, GA

Lori, Paul, Jonathon, and all the family. You all are so much like my own family. We love you so much. Penn was one of the most courageous young men I have ever known. I told him the last night of Judgement House that he was an inspiration to all of us. He was a blessing to all who knew him. I feel priviledged to have known him. I pray that God will comfort you as only he can. Penn is Home with Jesus now, and happier than any of us who are still here can imagine. You will miss him terribly, as all of us who knew and loved him will, but we will see him again in Heaven. We love you all Herb
